We would like to make you aware of a new service UxC will be providing beginning in 2010 called USEC Watch. Each quarter, following the issuance of USEC’s Securities and Exchange Commission required financial statements, we will be preparing an update of the executive summary and the key financial worksheets from our August 2009 Commercial Viability of USEC and ACP Update report, plus highlights from the financial statements. We will examine how the latest financial facts, risk discussions, strategic alternatives and American Centrifuge Program progress are impacting USEC’s financial health and outlook. The first update is expected to be issued in mid- to late March 2010. In addition to the quarterly updates, USEC Watch will also provide periodic analyses of issues related to USEC as they arise. The first of these analyses addresses the complicated manner in which USEC is anticipating near-term receipt of the $45 million agreed to be provided by DOE to continue research and development of the ACP back in the summer of 2009.

UxC has issued its first Quarterly Update under the new subscriber service USEC Watch. The update includes analyses of USEC’s 2009 financial performance – Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow – and suggests what the 2009 performance means for USEC’s near term viability. The Update also assesses the progress of the American Centrifuge Program, both technical and financial. The Update analyzes recent events such as the bartered uranium payment for accelerated cleanup work at the Portsmouth facility and the mechanisms by which the DOE will provide USEC with $45 million in cash to spend on further development of the ACP. The USEC Watch service will issue four quarterly updates based on USEC’s financial reporting schedule plus reports on other events as they occur throughout the year.
