Brazil
Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil S.A. (INB) [English] INB is the company in charge of promoting in Brazil uranium exploitation, from mining and primary processing up to its placement in the fuel elements which activate nuclear power reactors in the plants.
Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (IPEN) Site in Portuguese only. [Some English] IPEN is part of the Government of the State of São Paulo, tied with the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Economic Development. IPEN produces various nuclear-related products and operates the uranium hexafloride pilot facility at São Paulo.
Canada
Cameco Corporation Cameco operates and owns a controlling interest in the world's largest uranium mines and mills, located in northern Saskatchewan. Cameco's fuel services division consists of two operations in Ontario: a refinery in Blind River and two conversion plants in Port Hope.
China
China Nuclear Energy Industry Corp. (CNEIC) [English] CNEIC was established in early 1980, authorized by the state to be specialized in export and import of uranium products, techniques of nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear power techniques and equipment as well as other general goods. In the communication of international trade, the corporation is celebrated for its honoring of commitments and performance of obligations. CNEIC has been active in major projects known to nuclear sectors both at home and abroad, including supply of nuclear fuels to support the operation of NPPs in Europe, America and Japan; import of key equipment for the Qinshan NPP Phase-I and II Projects--the first NPP project in the mainland; acting as an agent of foreign trade in turnkey engineering for importing HWR NPP from Canada and Tiawan NPP from Russia; transfer of technology and supply of fuel assemblies for the export of the first NPP from China; export of heavy water for NPP in Korea; and supply of research reactors to developing countries under the IAEA Technical Assistance Program, etc.

Japan Nuclear Cycle Development Institute (JNC) [English] JNC was formed in-October 1998; its mission is to perform the development of the advanced technology required to establish the complete nuclear fuel cycle. Key projects include: the fast breeder reactor (FBR), advanced reprocessing, plutonium fuel fabrication and the disposal of high-level radioactive waste.

Korea Nuclear Fuel Co., Ltd. (KNFC) [English] KNFC is Korea's sole nuclear fuel company. It has self-reliant manufacturing technology for PWR and PHWR fuels. Carrying out conversion, nuclear fuel design and fabrication scope currently in the nuclear fuel cycle, KNFC has a long-term plan, aiming to be highly competitive in the world nuclear fuel cycle business early in the 21st century.

FSUE Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Complex (AECC) [English] The Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Complex" is an enterprise of The Ministry of the Russian Federation For Atomic Energy. It has wide experience in the field of conversion and enrichment of uranium used for fabrication of nuclear fuel.
Ministry for Atomic Energy of the Russian Federation (Minatom) [English] The ministry was established in 1992 and has been assigned functions as follows: Support nuclear and radiation safety of the nuclear complex; Organization and realization of federal regulation of activity of firms and organizations of the nuclear complex of the Russian Federation; Realization of federal state technological, investment and structural policy in the field of nuclear energy and engineering; Support of creation and implementation of development of programs of modernization, production and reduction of nuclear weapons, radioactive waste management, systemic realization of defense conversion of the nuclear complex.
